I graduated from Hacettepe University; School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1989. In the same year; I began to work in Hacettepe University Hospital; Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation as a physiotherapist. In 1991; I was accepted for Master?s Degree Program at Hacettepe University; Health Institute Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Program. I attended to Hacettepe University School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation as a researcher assistant in 1993. I had my master?s degree in 1994 and in same year I began to the doctorate program. I had my doctorate degree with my thesis called ?Effectiveness of Johnstone Pressure Splints in Children with Spastic Cerebral Palsy? supported by Hacettepe University Research Bursary in 1998. I had the assistant professor degree in 1998 and associated professor degree in 2003. Since 1993; I have been clinically studying in Hacettepe University School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation; Cerebral Palsy and Pediatric Neurology Unit. Also I and my colleagues in the unit participate to long term study in premature children followed by multidisciplinary team in Hacettepe University; Children Hospital. Currently; I am teaching ?Pediatric Rehabilitation? lessons for graduate students of Physiotherapy. This lesson includes physiotherapy approaches and applications in children with cerebral palsy; congenital torticollis; meningomyelocel; mental motor retardation; obstetric brachial plexus paralysis. I also teach Bobath method in theoretically and practically. Bobath method is being thought as a graduate lesson in Physical Therapy Schools in Turkey. I had my initial education in graduate study. Since 1989; I have been studying in children with Cerebral Palsy and the major patient group in which I was interested was the children with Cerebral Palsy. In addition; I apply physiotherapy of the other pediatric neurological problems in pediatric rehabilitation unit. I am EBTA tutor about Bobath Therapy and Assessment of Children with Cerebral Palsy. Since 1993; I am a member of EACD (European Academy of Childhood Disability) and I am the country representative of Turkey as well. Since 1993; I have attended Annual Meetings of EACD with oral or poster presentation studies in different countries of Europe that EACD supported me by bursary. I was professor in Faculty of Health Sciences; Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation since 2009. I have participated in the Practice Bobath course for children with Cerebral Palsy for four times which was taught and then; I attended to a- 8 week Bobath course in Istanbul in 2006 and I have taken a certificate. Now; I am tutor of EBTA. I am teaching pediatric rehabilitation for the students with graduate level as a lecturer and as an professor. Below; you shall see my international publication list and presented studies in congresses in which I have participated so far. I work in the Faculty of Health Sciences; Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation as vice president.
