Dear ECI conference attendees, conference presenters, and members of the International Society on Early Intervention (ISEI) and Eurlyaid,
We are proud to present you with the Conference Brochure for the upcoming Early Childhood Intervention conference in Lisbon, Portugal. The conference theme, Advancing Comprehensive Early Childhood intervention: What parents, professionals, science, and national systems can tell us, will be illustrated through 3 preconference workshops, 39 symposia, 126 papers and 211 posters. Information about all presentations is listed and described in the conference brochure:
We are so excited to have over 600 attendees from 50 countries registered to attend the conference. We are anticipating the conference will have many formal and informal learning opportunities for you during 4 days of preconference sessions, conference keynotes, symposia, papers and poster sessions. Our goal is for all conference attendees to apply what they learn to improve the outcomes for infants and young children with delays, disabilities, or developmental risks, and their families. Your participation in the conference will be integral to its success.
A few notes about the conference: 1) A brief brochure with symposia, papers and poster topics will be sent to you in the next two weeks to assist you in planning the sessions you wish to attend.; 2) All papers in a session are listed alphabetically. This is not necessarily the order in which they will be presented as the authors of papers have the discretion to reorganize the order of the papers within a session; 3) The author index only contains links to symposia organizers, and paper and poster lead authors.
We will also be hosting 4 ISEI special interest groups at the conference, and they are open to all conference attendees, and they are listed in the conference brochure. They are Workforce Preparation and Continuing Education, Inclusion, and the Physicians role in ECI. Our newest group is a Graduate Scholar (in ECI) group. Mike Guralnick and Mary Beth Bruder will be hosting a lunch for interested graduate scholars on Thursday, September 4. If you are a graduate student with a focus on ECI, and want to attend, please respond to the link below.

We hope you find the program as impressive as we do. We thank those of you who will be presenting your work at the conference, and we look forward to meeting those of you who will be attending the conference.
