News about our Keynote Speakers on 2025 Conference in Lisbon, Portugal

Dear friends and colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the Keynote Speakers for our upcoming Lisbon conference (September 2-5, 2025). As you know, the 2025 International Society on Early Intervention (ISEI) conference will be held in partnership with the European Association on Early Childhood Intervention (Eurlyaid), and will be hosted by the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE). The focus of our 2025 conference is: ”Advancing Comprehensive Early Childhood Intervention”. In so doing, we will emphasize what parents, professionals, science, and national systems are contributing to this topic.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Noted below are the Keynote Speakers for our 4-day conference. Additional details about our speakers will be provided on the conference website which will be available shortly.
· Tuesday: Mary Beth Bruder, Ph.D., Director, A.J. Pappanikou Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, Education, Research, and Service; Professor of Public Health Sciences, Pediatrics, and Educational Psychology, University of Connecticut, USA; Chair, ISEI. Topic for Pre-Conference: Summit on models of personnel development.
· Wednesday: Ana Maria Serrano, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Researcher, Research Centre on Child Studies, University of Minho, Braga, Portugal; Chair, Eurlyaid. Topic: Developing best practice guidelines.
· Thursday: Connie Kasari, Ph.D., Distinguished Professor of Human Development, Psychology, and Psychiatry, University of California, Los Angeles, USA; Founding member UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment and former President (2021-2023), International Society on Autism Research: Topic: Early interventions and autism: Where we have been and the promise of where we can go!
· Friday: Peter Rosenbaum, MD., FRCP(C), DSc(HC),FRCPI Hon(Paed) RCPI, Professor of Pediatrics and Associate in the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; Co-founder, CanChild Center for Childhood Disability Research: Topic: CanChild’s F-words for child development: families and professionals, decades of learning.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS
Please note, abstract submissions open on October 15, 2024. Details for submissions for symposia, papers, and posters will be available on the conference website. Please begin thinking about submissions as soon as possible as we are planning to close submissions by the middle of December to allow sufficient time for the Scientific Program Committee to conduct reviews.
